Do I need a merchant account to use the API?

Yes. Register for an account, verify your email, and create API keys from the dashboard. Sandbox keys work immediately for integration testing.

How are API keys secured?

Secrets are shown once at creation and stored hashed server-side. Use environment variables in your backend—never embed keys in client-side code.

Can I run entirely on sandbox?

You can build and test end-to-end in sandbox indefinitely. Live keys require completing any business checks required for your account.

What invoice statuses exist?

Invoices move through states such as draft, pending, partially paid, paid, expired, and cancelled—mirrored in API responses and the dashboard.

How do I handle webhook retries?

Implement idempotent handlers and return 2xx quickly. Inspect delivery attempts in the dashboard to debug failures.

Where can I see legal policies?

Privacy, terms, cookies, risk disclosure, and payment refund templates live under /legal. Have counsel review before relying on them.
